We have added some information that will help you get to Detroit, and enjoy the entire weekend.

Getting Here

Detroit Metro Airport

Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) is probably your best bet for getting the cheapest airfare.  The airport is about a 1 hour drive to the venue.

Another option that you should look at is flying in to Flint (FNT). The Flint airport is also about a 1 hour drive, and sometimes has cheaper fares depending on where you are flying in from.

Car rentals are going to be your best option, especially if you're planning on traveling around Detroit during the weekend. There are very affordable options available through Costco Travel, especially if you will be flying into Detroit Metro (DTW).

Ubers are also available from both airports to the hotel for around $50 (depends on the time and surge pricing).

The ceremony and reception will both take place at the Packard Proving Grounds:

149965 Van Dyke, Shelby Charter Township, MI 48317.

Please use Google Maps or Waze for exact directions.

There will be plenty of parking available. Please note that if you park within the main gates of the Proving Grounds they will be locked as soon as the reception ends, and will only be unlocked the next morning.

We will be providing a shuttle bus to bring our guests from the Hyatt Place - Detroit/Utica to the ceremony (shuttle times TBD) and then back again at the end of the night to assure that everyone makes it back safely!

It is the largest indoor-outdoor museum complex in the United States (unfortunately the outdoor portion is closed this weekend, however the indoor exhibits are absolutely worth the trip).

The Original Model T Factory. The oldest auto plant open to the public anywhere in the world. Almost unchanged since Henry Ford's day, the plant is a three-story New England-style mill building. Each floor is divided into sections by the original metal fire doors, complete with the shadows of Henry Ford's "Positively NO Smoking" stencils. The old plank floors are worn from the 12,000 Model Ts built on them, so wear appropriate shoes for your visit.
